The 2014 call is aimed at selecting the second intake of grantees, whose mobility must start before 31st December 2015 at the latest, while Staff mobility may take place at any time during the project lifespan.
Any mobility must be concluded by 14.07.2017, end date of Swap and Transfer project .
For the duration of your mobility period you will receive a standard monthly subsistence allowance (scholarship grant).
Payments will be transferred to your bank account in Europe. The amounts are fixed by the EU Commission:
Undergraduate 1,000 euro
Master 1,000 euro
PhD 1,500 euro
Post-doc 1,800 euro
Academic Staff 2,500 euro
Who can apply
Perspective EM applicants are nationals of one of the Asian partners countries holding a valid passport or any other kind of verified proof of identification of the home country, and with the requirements to access to the level of mobility at a Higher Education Institute in Europe.

Specific inquiries may be addressed to the chosen host University.
To apply you must state which Target group you belong to.
- TG1 are Students (Undergraduate , Master, PhD with a minimum of 1 year previous university studies) Postdoc and Academic and administrative staff belonging to the partner universities in Asia only.
- TG2 are perspective participants coming from whatever university of the beneficiary Asian countries involved in the project or alumni of a partner university who concluded their academic path.
You can only apply if you are citizen of one of these countries.
- TG3 is a special target group for which few additional grants are foreseen. You can apply to TG3 target group or indicate it in your application as TG1 or TG2 if you belong to a 1)indigenous people or 2) minority language group, if you need special provisions as 3) refugee or 4) asylum seeker or if you can identify yourself in a special vulnerable situation.
Candidates from eligible countries with certified refugee status and residing in Europe are eligible for scholarships reserved to the home country citizens.
AS TG3 applicant your status needs to be certified by an official body like Government , authority like UNHCR or ONG (like Amnesty international).
